General League Terms and Conditions

Participation & Liability

Participation in the Indoor Bike League (short IBL) is at your own risk. Each participant makes a binding declaration that there are no health concerns for its participation.

I accept that the IBL, as operator, objects to any liability for accidents or other damages of any kind.

Registrierung

The user name in the Tacx software ID card must be equal the nick name in the IBL.

Each participant has to register its correct body weight plus additional 8 kg for the bike within its Tacx's user profile (in the Tacx software "Blue" and Fortius "Green" i-Magic).
Please note that the TTS 3.x software automatically adds the bike weight. Therefore only the pure body weight needs to be considered for the Tacx user profile. For more information please take a look at the How-to video.
For your user profile on the IBL website under "My IBL -> My Account -> Edit -> Personal" you must specify your pure body weight without adding additonal 8 kg for the bike.
You are not allowed to change your body weight during the ongoing competition.

In the Tacx software the scaling factor must be set to a value of 100 (default). In the "Blue" software, the calibration setting needs to be set to 0.

Double registrations are permitted!

IBL Terms & Conditions

If you ordered and paid an Autumn League, you can automatically participate in any race or special races within this League. Same counts for the Winter League. If you ordered and paid the Bundle, you are allowed to automatically participate in any race or special races within the Autumn and Winter League.

Within a series the races will be activated at a certain point of time with a certain sequence (race 1 - date X, race 2 - date Y, etc.). The competitions starts with the activation of race 1. It is only allowed to upload one run per race per day. In case several races are already activated you are allowed to upload your best run for race 1, your best run for race 2 and so on.

The completed run must be uploaded within 24 hours. In case the upload does not work properly, we are going to communicate an extension of this time line within the News. Races are only valid when cadence and heart rate are measured constantly and do not show breaks..

In each race you are allowed to upload 6 runs for the result evaluation. However each additional upload will be counted for the king of kilometers score, KMK-rating.

There are five different ratings:
  a) time rating (yellow jersey) - net time of total race
  b) climber rating (dotted jersey) - net time of mountain sprints only
  c) sprint rating (green jersey) - net time given sprints only
  d) overall standings (blue jersey) - consists of ratings a) to c)
  e) KMK Score (black jersey) - cumulates kilometers

The use of steering frames is generally not permitted. Exceptions are special events that indicate this aspect.

Any manipulation or the attempt to manipulate completed runs will result in immediate exclusion of IBL membership.

The IBL, as  operator, reserves the right to expressly prohibit to publish IBL races at other party's websites or race series.

These rules may be amended or modified at any time.
